  • "CAN I BUY A CAR FROM ANOTHER STATE?"

Answer: Yes, buying a car from another state is very common, especially for buyers looking for specific models or better deals

  • "HOW DOES OUT-OF-STATE REGISTRATION WORK?"

Answer: Out-of-state registration requires transferring your vehicle's title, obtaining local auto insurance, and passing a VIN verification. You typically have 30 to 60 days to complete this process at your local DMV or County Clerk's office.

  • "DOES THE DEALERSHIP ARRANGE SHIPPING & DELIVERY OF VEHICLE?"

Answer: Yes, we handle titling, registration, & shipping for out-of-state purchases. You can also arrange your own out-of-state shipping and delivery of the vehicle.

  • "WILL I HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX TWICE"

Answer: No. generally you only pay sales tax in the state where you register the vehicle, not where you buy it. We handle the paperwork so you pay your home state's tax at your local DMV. If you pay a lower tax rate at the dealership, you may owe the difference to your local taxing authority.

  • "DO I NEED AN OUT-OF-STATE VEHICLE INSPECTION?"

Answer: Yes, often. Before you can officially register and title the vehicle in your home state, your local DMV may require a VIN inspection (to verify the vehicle identification number) and sometimes an emissions test to ensure it complies with local environmental laws.
